Position Overview:

As an Area Clinical Coordinator, your role will be to support and mentor a small team of TMS clinicians. It is an exciting leadership role where clinicians will directly report to you. You will be managing clinic availability, covering clinics as a standby clinician, or ensuring the resource to cover clinics for the purposes of sickness or holidays. This role will work closely with the National Operations 

You will possess a capacity and experience managing and leading a clinical workforce, possessing extensive experience working in a clinical mental health setting.

 

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Roster Management, interviews and performance reviews
  • Manage chair and clinician utilisation in line with operational KPIs
  • Assist in opening new clinics
  • Assist in working with the marketing team around in-service GP meetings
  • Liaise with other Area Clinical Coordinators to ensure consistent quality and care is achieved across all sites
  • Clinical expertise to coach, mentor and support clinical staff
  • The initial point of contact for clinical and operational questions
  • Responsible for patient management in the various clinics.

 

Qualifications & Experience Required

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Experience taking ownership of individual objectives in fast-paced environments
  • Motivation to learn and consistently improve processes in line with individual and team objectives
  • Relevant experience working with people with a diverse set of physical and mental health conditions
  • Experience with managing risk assessments
  • Capacity to liaise with referrers and manage patients with a diverse set of physical and mental health conditions
  • First Aid certificate
